Arrangements are being made to install artificial lighting at playgrounds to enable students to use grounds even in evening and night hours, added Singh. These machines include waist twister, rover, shoulder press, chest press, back pull up, sit up and stepper among others, he said adding the idea behind setting up open air gyms is to ensure an all-time accessibility to students and staff of BHU. BHU Sports Board vice-president Dinesh Chandra Rai said, every gym has been equipped with 9-10 machines facilitating full body exercises. VARANASI: Set up by the Sports Board of Banaras Hindu University, open air gyms started operating at four places on the campus on Sunday.
